From machines to software.

An engineer's path — mechanical, then robotics, then the web.

My story

Engineering has always been the constant

I started in Mechanical Engineering for my B.Tech, where I learned how physical systems are designed, analyzed, and built. Even then I was drawn to teaching — I tutored students part-time throughout my undergraduate years, which taught me how to break complex problems into pieces anyone can understand.

My M.Tech in Robotics Engineering brought hardware and software together — control systems, automation, and programming machines to sense and act. That's where software went from a tool to a passion.

I've spent 3+ years as a software engineer building production Angular and React applications — from an enterprise ERP time-tracking tool I led as sole architect, to a US-market platform where I owned entire user-facing modules.

Today I work as a freelance full-stack developer, delivering complete web applications for clients — from data model and API design through polished, responsive frontends, to CI/CD pipelines and deployment on Azure and AWS.

What drives me

The same thing that pulled me from mechanics to robotics to the web: taking an idea, engineering it carefully, and watching it work in the real world. A good web application is a machine too — every part has a purpose.

How I work

  • Clear scope and honest timelines before code is written
  • Clean, typed, maintainable code — not quick hacks
  • Regular demos so you always see progress
  • Documentation and handover you can actually use
Skills

Technical toolbox

Frontend

  • Angular (v2–14+) with NgRx & RxJS — my enterprise workhorse
  • React 18 with Redux & Next.js (SSR) — modern product frontends
  • TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, SCSS, Tailwind CSS
  • Responsive design, accessibility, performance

Backend

  • Node.js & Express — REST APIs, authentication, middleware
  • NestJS — structured, TypeScript-first backends
  • REST APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets
  • JWT & role-based access control, validation, error handling

Databases

  • MongoDB — schema design, aggregation, indexing
  • PostgreSQL — relational modeling and SQL
  • Redis — caching and fast data paths
  • Azure Cosmos DB — cloud-native NoSQL at scale

Cloud & DevOps

  • CI/CD — GitHub Actions & Azure DevOps pipelines
  • AWS (EC2, S3), Azure, Vercel — cloud deployment
  • Docker, Nginx, Linux — containerized production setups

Engineering foundation

  • ROS 2, SLAM, Kalman filters, A* path planning (M.Tech research)
  • Mechanical engineering fundamentals (B.Tech)
  • SolidWorks & ANSYS — simulation and design
  • Analytical problem solving & system thinking

Beyond code

  • AI-augmented development — Cursor & Claude Code in real production workflows
  • Teaching & mentoring — years of part-time tutoring
  • Client communication & requirement gathering
  • Independent project ownership as a freelancer
